Neha Goel, MD, MPH is an Associate Attending on the faculty of the Breast Service, Department of Surgery, Chief of Disparities of the Department of Surgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and the Jeanne A. Petrek Junior Faculty Chair. Dr. Goel is principal investigator of the ZIP Code to Genomic Code lab and leads a multi-institutional prospective epidemiologic cohort study to understand multilevel pathways of breast cancer disparities. She is funded by an NIH R01/R37 MERIT, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the Society of Surgical Oncology, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology and uses translational epidemiologic methods to understand how neighborhood disadvantage and social adversity influence cancer biology and outcomes.
