[[{“type”:“media”,“view_mode”:“media_large”,“fid”:null,“attributes”:{“class”:“media-image size-full wp-image-2569 alignright”,“typeof”:“foaf:Image”,“style”:“”,“width”:“100”,“height”:“100”,“alt”:“Valley News”}}]]After an earthquake struck Haiti in January 2010, several teams of Upper Valley physicians, nurses, and physical therapists made the trip to the devastated Caribbean nation to offer help. This month, a little more than a year later, another team flew to Haiti. Led by Dr. Joe Rosen, the six men were to spend the week at the Partners in Health hospital in Cange, a village on Haiti’s Central Plateau, performing plastic and reconstructive surgery and teaching. The medical team was the first group sent on behalf of the Dartmouth Haiti Response, a collaboration between Dartmouth College and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, in about eight months.
