Undergraduate and Dartmouth Medical School student volunteers who are part of a program called Dartmouth Ears spend a couple of hours a week visiting patients, talking with and listening to them. Vermont Public Radio’s Steve Zind spoke with Justin Montgomery, a geriatric nurse coordinator at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., who works with the Ears volunteers.
