Fixed Objects Move Before Your Eyes (New Scientist TV)


Associate Professor of Psychological and Brain Sciences Peter Tse ’84 created a new visual illusion that was a finalist in this year’s Illusion of the Year contest. The illusion uses a moving background to create a misleading perception about the location of two flashing red dots.
