Big Green Bus Tour Highlights Environmental Awareness (Las Vegas Sun)

The Dartmouth students manning the Big Green Bus—which runs on used vegetable oil—are visiting Las Vegas as part of their 2011 environmental education tour, the Las Vegas Sun reported.

As they travel around the country, the students sleep where they can, sometimes in tents and sometimes on the bus. This year, Caesars Entertainment became one of the main sponsors of the bus as part of its sustainability program, called Code Green. So for two nights in Vegas, they got to sleep in style in the Rio hotel, which is owned by Caesars.
