The “Leading Voices in Politics and Policy” lecture series this summer gave sophomores and members of the Dartmouth community a chance to hear from nationally-recognized experts and presidential candidates.

“This is a case where the world really is our classroom,” says Associate Professor Deborah Jordan Brooks, one of five educators teaching a public policy course that accompanied the series.

Fourteen speakers took part in the series over nine weeks in the 2011 summer term. Leading Voices, which drew inspiration from the Great Issues course seniors took from 1947 to 1967, will return next summer and feature a new topic.
