October 21 to 23 marks Homecoming 2011 at Dartmouth.
Friday, October 21, is Dartmouth Night. Alumni march in the annual parade beginning at 7:30 p.m. Dartmouth Night ceremonies are scheduled for 8:00 p.m. in front of Dartmouth Hall, and the bonfire will be lit at 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, October 22, Big Green Football takes on Columbia at 1:30 p.m. Other contests Saturday are men and women’s soccer and field hockey, against Columbia; women’s volleyball against Harvard; and men’s ice hockey against Western Ontario in an exhibition game.
Plenty of other activities are available, including lectures, stargazing at the observatory, and Baker Library bell tower tours. Some require registration; check the events schedule on the Alumni Relations website for more information.
