Dartmouth Marks 50 Years Since King Lecture on Campus (The Union Leader)

In a Martin Luther King Jr. Day story outlining events at Dartmouth and elsewhere in New Hampshire, the Union Leader quotes Gabrielle Lucke, Dartmouth’s director of diversity training and educational programs. In addition to the anniversary of Dr. King’s speech “Towards Freedom,” given at Dartmouth on May 23, 1962, the story mentions the College’s 2012 Martin Luther King Jr. celebration’s keynote by groundbreaking high school football coach Herman Boone, and the College’s Social Justice Awards, to be presented on January 27.
