Among those interviewed is Lisa Johnson, director of the National College Health Improvement Project (NCHIP), which was founded and is based at Dartmouth. NCHIP’s inaugural program, the Learning Collaborative on High-Risk Drinking, is using outcomes-based research to identify successful methods to reduce harm associated with binge drinking on college campuses. Johnson discusses the success at Dartmouth of the BASICS program, which pairs an online self-assessment with counseling.
