David Blanchflower on Europe Debt Crisis, Euro (Bloomberg Television)

David Blanchflower, the Bruce V. Rauner Professor of Economics, co-hosted Bloomberg Television’s Surveillance program on August 15 in New York City.

During the program, Blanchflower shared his insights about the European debt crisis, the resiliency of the euro, and the impact of negative interest rates. “People are very worried about things,” says Blanchflower. “And the central banks and the Europeans say, oh, this is fine, we’re going to carry on until the next crisis.”

Watch the video, broadcast 8/15/12 on Bloomberg Television’s Surveillance.
