After examining a newly surfaced 1859 photograph believed to show the poet Emily Dickinson posing with a friend, Professor Susan Pepin of The Geisel School of Medicine reported that the 1859 photo and the only currently authenticated photograph of the reclusive American poet, an image taken in 1847, appear to be of the same person, The Guardian reports.
