Alexandra Stein ’06, the coxswain for the U.S. mixed coxed four rowing team, helped guide the United States to a sixth-place finish at the 2012 Paralympic Games in London on September 2, reports The Daily Voice.

The article points to Stein’s post-race reactions, published by USRowing.com. “We knew that everyone was going to be fast off the line, so we just wanted to go out and be in contention, put forth a full effort, hammering it out right from the start,” she says. “We just came up short, but I think we feel good, because we put it all on the line.”

In The Daily Voice’s pre-race coverage, it notes that Stein is a Dartmouth alumna and a member of the U.S. team that finished sixth at the world championships last year.
