As Election Day draws closer, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has changed his strategy to include a more moderate tone, reports The Boston GlobeLinda Fowler, professor of government and the Frank J. Reagan ’09 Chair in Policy Studies at Dartmouth, told the Globe, “It’s been a real pivot, but it’s been geared toward a particular demographic: women tend to be late deciders.” She continues, “It’s working because women don’t like that hard-edged partisan politics. I think they did a bunch of focus groups and they just changed the tone—and the substance where they have to.”
