Sally Batton, the head coach of the Dartmouth equestrian team and the director of riding, has been named the recipient of the 2013 Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Lifetime Achievement Award, the organization recently announced.

In her 23rd season at the helm of the Big Green equestrian program, Batton has guided her team to three Ivy League titles (2010, 2007, 1997) as well as sending several Dartmouth riders on to compete at the Intercollegiate Horse Show.
