4 Reasons Why North Korea Won’t Start a War (The Week)

In a story pointing to recent media reports about why North Korea is unlikely to instigate a war, The Week lists four reasons, including the state of the country’s military, which Dartmouth’s Jennifer Lind says would not be able to sustain a lengthy campaign.

“This is a military that if you ran them against the Iraqi military in 1991, North Korea would lose,” says Lind, an associate professor of government, in an interview with USA Today.
