Having toured the Inn, Olmstead praises the improvements, especially in the guest rooms, which he says “all feature new furniture, oversized flat screens, and much-improved bathrooms with large walk-in showers and upscale bath amenities.”

However, he says, the “real highlight” is PINE. The restaurant’s chef, Michael Schlow, is a James Beard award winner and “was also named one of Food & Wine Magazine’s Best New Chefs when he came on the scene,” says Olmstead, who goes on to describe other accolades that have come Schlow’s way and the entrees on the menu.
