Our Body, Our Germs: The Role of the Microbes Among Us (VPR)

As a guest on VPR’s Vermont Edition, Deborah Hogan, associate professor of microbiology and immunology at the Geisel School of Medicine, discusses how good and bad bacteria affect a person’s health.

“It’s clear that bacteria probably do more good for us than harm on balance when you consider the trillions and trillions of bacteria that live on us and in us,” Hogan tells VPR.
