The Charlotte Observer poses a question: “What’s long, green, and filled with stories?”

The answer: Dartmouth’s Big Green Bus, of course.

With its crew of 12 undergraduates, the bus is making its way across the country, stopping at places along the route where the students talk with local residents about sustainability.

The newspaper writes about the Dartmouth bus crew’s visit to Charlotte earlier this month. The students spent three days in the Charlotte area, taking part in the Sustainable Charlotte’s Health and Harmony Fest. “They also volunteered at the Lomax Incubator Farm in Concord, a training program for new organic farmers,” the Observer notes.
