In a Concord Monitor opinion piece, Asher Mayerson ’15 writes about Secretary of State John Kerry’s attempts to restart peace negotiations between Israel and Palestine. “Kerry appears to be bridging gaps that could lead to a series of negotiations that brings peace and stability to the region once and for all,” writes Mayerson.

“If the United States continues its diplomatic push for a lasting peace agreement,” says Mayerson, “then our country will likely be stronger than ever, building relationships in the Middle East that are important to our economy and our security.”
