In August, President Barack Obama announced a proposal for a rating system that would assess colleges and universities based on value—with criteria based on access, affordability, and outcomes, reports VPR. On VPR’s Vermont Edition, a group of college administrators, including Dartmouth’s Paul Sunde, discuss Obama’s plan as well as how to assess the value of higher education.

Sunde, the director of admissions, tells VPR, “I think at Dartmouth our concern is driven by outcomes and how our students are fairing. We’re constantly thinking about innovating and improving our student experience with a focus on outcome.”
