Dartmouth students in Professor of Computer Science Andrew Campbell’s software design and implementation class are moving on from robotics to nanocopters, reports the website Campus Technology. Nanocopters are tiny wireless helicopters that the students control with hand gestures.

Campbell tells Campus Technology that “because our numbers in computer science classes are way up, I had to find a new project suitable for a larger class. I wanted to expose the students to cutting-edge challenges and the new revolution in how we will interact with computing devices in the future--through speech and gesture.“
