What began as a final class assignment for an environmental studies course was only the beginning for Sarah Alexander ’14 and Meegan Daigler ’14. This past winter, the two classmates traveled to India to conduct research for their project, which focuses on finding a healthier way to dispose of or recycle the oil used by street vendors in Delhi.
In this video, the two classmates discuss their project and its potential impact on people’s health and the environment in India. “We have the capacity to enact huge change,” says Alexander.
