A news digest, VOX Weekly, makes its debut on May 22. The email publication, sent each Thursday to all students, faculty, and staff, will deliver news, photos, videos, events, and voices from and for the Dartmouth community.

VOX Weekly is the next step in the upgrade of the VOX system that began during winter term. Further improvements are in the works to modernize and integrate Dartmouth’s campus communications channels.

The new digest will include news and feature items from the Colleges news site, Dartmouth Now, as well as stories, interviews, and photos from the Geisel School of Medicine, Thayer School of Engineering, Tuck School of Business, and Dartmouth’s Graduate Studies.

VOX Weekly will highlight Dartmouth newsmakers mentioned in the media, upcoming campus events, and a photograph of the week—which will be crowd-sourced from VOX readers.

The publication also includes the first article in a new series, “The Dartmouth Professor Talks,” which features a question-and-answer interview with a member of the Dartmouth faculty. Marcelo Gleiser, a professor of physics and astronomy and the Appleton Professor of Natural Philosophy, is the first faculty member interviewed for the series.

VOX Weekly welcomes your comments, ideas, and contributions at vox@dartmouth.edu.
