In a story about climate change, VPR’s Vermont Edition turns to Thayer School of Engineering’s Mary Albert for her expertise.

“It is important to all scientists to voice the facts of what is going on now. In the science community, there is no debate about climate change. That is long settled,” says Albert, a professor of engineering and executive director of the U.S. Ice Drilling Program office.

“There are people who know the facts and understand them, and there are people who don’t. I don’t think there is a public debate,” she tells VPR.
