Dartmouth Now takes note when faculty weigh in on issues of the day. Here is today’s “Quoted”:

“How did we become a nation with 20 kinds of toothpaste, 500 television channels, and only two brands of politician?” asks Charles Wheelan ’88 in a U.S. News & World Report opinion piece about the midterm elections.

Wheelan is a senior lecturer and policy fellow at the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center for Public Policy and the Social Sciences and a senior lecturer in the Department of Economics.
