Dartmouth Now takes note when faculty members weigh in on issues of the day. Here is today’s “Quoted”:

“Depression is underrecognized and undertreated in older adults,” says Professor Stephen Bartels in a Washington Post story about addressing the mental health needs of senior citizens.

Bartels is the director of the Dartmouth Center for Health and Aging, a professor of psychiatry and of community and family medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine, and a professor at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy & Clinical Practice.
