Dartmouth Now takes note when faculty weigh in on issues of the day. Here is today’s “Quoted”:

“The protocol is like a recipe. If you faithfully follow a bad recipe, you get a bad cake. You want to make sure the recipe is as good as possible,” says Dartmouth’s Steven Woloshin in a Wall Street Journal story about FDA involvement in clinical drug trials.

Woloshin is a professor of medicine and of community and family medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine and of The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice.
