In an interview with MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show, Dartmouth’s Daniel Benjamin talks about Al Qaeda’s claim of credit for the recent attack on Charlie Hebdo in Paris and about future terrorists threats.

“There are a lot of different places to keep an eye out for,” says Benjamin, director of the John Sloan Dickey Center for International Understanding. “And of course, everyone is still looking at Pakistan. It’s a complicated picture, but I think the biggest thing to keep an eye out for right now is the activities of militants within Europe’s own borders. They may not have the organization and the skill set, but some of them seem really motivated to carry out some very violent attacks.”
