Dartmouth Now takes note when faculty and other members of the community weigh in on issues of the day. Here is today’s “Quoted”:

“I think it will draw students who have the background—family background or educational background—in the region, but also students who study Spanish,” says Dartmouth’s Lynn Higgins in a VPR story about the College’s new exchange with the Casa de las Americas and the University of Havana, which will allow students to study in Cuba.

Higgins is the Frank J. Guarini Associate Dean of the Faculty for International Studies and Interdisciplinary Programs, the Edward Tuck Professor of French, and a professor of comparative literature and film studies.
