In his latest post for NPR’s 13.7 Cosmos & Culture blog, Professor Marcelo Gleiser writes that over the years he has collected “thought fragments and sentences,” and decided to share some of them with readers—“along with my wishes for a creative and healthy 2015.”

Among them:

  • “Doubt drives change.”
  • “The new exists at every moment. All it takes is to look at the world with enchantment.”
  • “The meaning of life is to find meaning in life.”
  • “The search for knowledge is an insatiable flirt with the unknown.”
Gleiser is the Appleton Professor of Natural Philosophy and a professor of physics and astronomy.
