Dartmouth Now takes note when faculty and other members of the community weigh in on issues of the day. Here is today’s “Quoted”:

“Creativity is another concept that is often thought of as something we are either born with or will never have. Our data clearly refute this notion,” says Dartmouth’s Alexander Schlegel in a Pacific Standard story about how learning artistic skills enhances creativity.

Schlegel, a graduate student in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences, is the lead author of a paper about creativity and the brain that was published in the journal NeuroImage, reports Pacific Standard.
