D-H President Is a ‘Great American’ (‘NH Business Review’)

Dartmouth-Hitchcock CEO and President James Weinstein is among 90 recipients of the 2015 Ellis Island Medal of Honor from the National Ethnic Coalition of Organizations, reports New Hampshire Business Review.

“Weinstein is a founding member and chair of the national High Value Healthcare Collaborative, a partnership of 17 health care delivery systems and The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice (TDI), collectively serving more than 70 million people across the United States, who have taken on the challenge of improving the quality of care while lowering costs, the National Ethnic Coalition of Organizations said,” reports the Review.

Weinstein is also a professor of orthopaedic surgery and of community and family medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine, and a TDI professor.
