“It’s a classic Dr. Seuss treatment,” says Professor Donald Pease in an Associated Press story, published in The New York Times, about a newly published book by Theodor Geisel, Class of 1925, known as Dr. Seuss.
The book, What Pet Should I Get?, was released this week.
Says Pease: “What it does is it brings a child, actually a brother and sister, into relationship by way of a problem almost every child addresses in her or his life: What pet should I get?”
Pease is the Ted and Helen Geisel Third Century Professor in the Humanities.
