“It’s politicizing what should be a scientific judgment,” Dartmouth’s Steven Woloshin tells BuzzFeed News in a story about a new drug to treat low sex drive in women and about industry watchdogs’ criticism that the maker used feminism to win FDA approval for the drug.

“I think there is a line that gets crossed when you turn the approval process into a political arena,” says Woloshin, a professor of medicine and of community and family medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine and of The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy & Clinical Practice.
