The Dartmouth Rugby Football Club defeated Harvard 51 to 19 to take its ninth consecutive Ivy title. Both teams were unbeaten in their Ivy rugby match-ups heading into the championship match at Dartmouth on Nov. 14.
“We designed our season to hit the ground running once the Ivy Rugby Conference commenced and we continued to work hard each week to build on our individual skills and team processes. The result is our ninth consecutive Ivy Rugby Conference Championship,” says Coach Gavin Hickie.
The players now have a few months to recover over the winter break before returning to Hanover in January to start their preparation for spring competitions such as the Varsity Cup and the CRCs, Hickie says.

- Men’s water polo finished fourth at Nationals after winning the Ivy League Club Championship and the New England Division Collegiate Water Polo Association Club Championship.
- The tennis club has qualified for Nationals for the fourth year in a row after placing third in the USTA Tennis on Campus New England Sectionals Tournament.
- The men’s soccer club qualified for and participated in the NIRSA Region 1 Club Soccer tournament in Delaware. To qualify for regionals they had to win the North Division.
