The Department of Theater recently took on the production of Don Juan Comes Back From the War, in which the iconic character Don Juan is placed in a landscape devastated by World War I.

Undergraduates played all the roles, and students and faculty collaborated on the production. Peter Hackett, a professor of theater and the Avalon Foundation Chair in the Humanities, directed the show. Many students worked behind the scenes, from building sets to designing costumers to crewing the lights and soundboard.

The show opened Nov. 6 and continues through Nov. 15.
