A Dartmouth study that traces cravings back to a particular part of the brain may offer insight in helping fight human behaviors such as addiction and overeating, writes the Daily Mail.
“Although we have a sense of what brain circuits mediate reward, less is known about the neural circuitry underlying the transfer of value to cues associated with rewards,” says Stephen Chang, a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences and lead author of the study, tells the Mail.
