“For older age groups, the problem is not curing a single disease but managing multiple diseases and helping people to live as well as they can as their health status changes, and their life expectancy declines,” says Dartmouth’s Julie Bynum in a HealthLeaders Media story about a new study on health care received by elderly patients.

Bynum is an associate professor of medicine at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice and an associate professor of medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine.
