“You can be a mile wide and inch deep on a whole bunch of things. Or you can focus on something and you do that better than anyone else,” says Dartmouth’s Tillman Gerngross in a Wired story about how his company, Adimab, is using yeast to find a cure for cancer, Ebola, Alzheimer’s, antibiotic resistant bacteria, and other diseases.

Gerngross is a professor of engineering at Thayer School of Engineering, associate provost of the Office of Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer, and CEO of Adimab. Gerngross co-founded the company, based in Lebanon, N.H. with K. Dane Wittrup, a professor of biology at MIT.
