The ArtWorks employee art show will take place Friday, showcasing drawings, paintings, sculpture, and performances by Dartmouth staff and faculty in the midst of holiday festivities surrounding the Christmas tree lighting on the Green.

The event runs from 3 to 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 2, and will showcase College artists in the Hop Garage at the Hopkins Center for the Arts, with live musical performances across the way at the Courtyard Café. The show will pause before 5 p.m. for participants to head over to the Christmas tree lighting celebration.

This year’s ArtWorks coincides with Hanover’s Celebrate the Season festival, which includes a range of activities throughout the day sponsored by local merchants, from a model train show to gingerbread house decorating to carriage rides.

Since 2006, Dartmouth’s Office of Human Resources has invited Dartmouth’s artists to share their talents with the community through ArtWorks, a nonjuried show and arts festival featuring exhibits and performances including paintings, photography, video, poetry, live music, and more.

ArtWorks is sponsored by the Office of the President and the Office of Human Resources.
