A student skis across a temporary pond at the Dartmouth Skiway
On Sunday, Apr. 2, the Dartmouth Skiway hosted its first pond skim, inviting skiers to enjoy the spring weather by attempting to ski across a small pool of water. Some, like the skier above, glided across the surface. Others ended up getting a little wetter. The event was a fundraiser for the Special Olympics. (Photo by Robert Gill)

Art display at Hood Downtown
A new exhibit on display at Hood Downtown turns big data into art. Artist Ingo Günther uses data sets gathered by the United Nations and other sources, on topics such as life expectancy and ocean pollution, to create striking visualizations in the form of globes. Salman Hameed
On March 28, Salman Hameed, a professor of science and the humanities at Hampshire College, spoke about the executive order issued by President Donald Trump banning travel to the U.S. from six countries with a majority Muslim population.
