Visitors to the Class of 1978 Life Sciences Center greenhouse are introduced to Morphy by greenhouse manager Kim DeLong. Morphy is a specimen of Amorphophallus titanum—more commonly called a corpse flower—a rare species that typically blooms about every seven or eight years.
