Visitors to the Class of 1978 Life Sciences Center greenhouse are introduced to Morphy by greenhouse manager Kim DeLong. Morphy is a specimen of Amorphophallus titanum—more commonly called a corpse flower—a rare species that typically blooms about every seven or eight years. But Morphy, just two years after its previous bloom, has already bloomed again, drawing many interested visitors to the greenouse. (Photo by Robert Gill)
