Members of the president's office stand in front of a truck with the Upper Valley Haven logo on it
The President’s Office staff braved the wind and rain last week to log volunteer hours for The Call to Serve. They did yard work and other chores at the Upper Valley Haven, a temporary shelter and food shelf in White River Junction, Vt., serving homeless families and adults. The volunteers, from left, included Taylor Long, Laura Hercod, Chris Hardy, President Phil Hanlon, Jen Shepherd, and Hailey LaVoy. Said Haven Board Chair Stacey Chiocchio, “President Hanlon is pretty hard core. He was out raking in the rain!” Get involved and log your volunteer hours as members of the Dartmouth community work toward contributing 250,000 volunteer hours in celebration of the College’s 250th anniversary.
