The Dartmouth community is invited to celebrate the beginning of the school year and Dartmouth’s 250th anniversary with hamburgers, hotdogs, garden burgers, and other picnic fare at the annual community cookout on the Green, hosted by President Philip J. Hanlon ’77 and Gail Gentes.

The festivities begin at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19, and will feature student musical performances under the direction of Walt Cunningham. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome.

In case of rain, the community lunch will move to the Class of 1953 Commons.
