A chat with Thayer School of Engineering’s new dean, Alexis Abramson, and updates on the Dartmouth Green Energy Project and the strategic master plan process are on the program next Wednesday for Executive Vice President Rick Mills’ first town hall meeting of the academic year.

Abramson, who took over as Thayer’s dean over the summer, will talk about her vision for the engineering school at the public forum, set for noon, on Oct. 16, in the Hopkins Center of the Arts’ Spaulding Auditorium.

Mills will also be joined by Vice President for Institutional Projects Josh Keniston, who will give an update on progress made toward achieving the institution’s sustainability goals. And the master plan process will be discussed by Vice President of Campus Services Steve Moore and College Planner Joanna Whitcomb.

The hour-long town hall meeting, part of Mills’ ongoing series of community discussions, includes time for questions and feedback from the audience. The event is open to the public.
