Video Series Highlights Faculty Experts

News subtitle

Professors across departments explain their research and discuss current events.

Over the past six months, we’ve featured professors and staff across departments and disciplines in a “Faculty Expert” video series. From explaining research projects to providing commentary on current events, Dartmouth professors have weighed in on a range of topics.

The series began last summer, with the Sherman Fairchild Distinguished Professor of History Matthew Delmont explaining the origins and importance of Juneteenth. Since then, professors have discussed astronomical discoveries, tensions in foreign affairs, research on dragonflies, and the continued unrest following the 2020 election in the U.S.

The full playlist of videos can be viewed here. Future videos in the series will be shared on Dartmouth News, the Dartmouth YouTube channel, and other social media platforms.
