All sorts of activities have been keeping people busy this term, ranging from the Hood Museum of Art winter opening to rallies in support of Ukraine and a vigil to mark the anniversary of the Atlanta-area spa shootings that killed eight people.

John Cho ’22, who helped organize the March 4 vigil, said it was important to understand the social context that underlies the violence that Asian Americans can face, especially Asian American women and spa and massage workers. Attendees also held a moment of silence to reflect on the shootings and what Cho called “the wave of anti-Asian hate that happened during the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Other recent activities on campus include the lights at the Bema event and playoff games for intramural house hockey at Thompson Arena. And Rent became the first live student musical production to play at the Hop in three years (see more photos from Rent). Of course, students also still got to their classes and did some requisite studying, too.
