Over spring break, a group of students ventured to the sugar bush at the Dartmouth Organic Farm to learn about maple syrup production. The students were involved in every step of the process, from tapping trees to boiling sap. On average, it takes 40 gallons of sap to make a gallon of syrup.

The annual Sugar Crew program is managed by the Dartmouth Sustainability Office.
