More than 1,800 undergraduate and graduate degrees were conferred Sunday as Dartmouth marked commencement for the Class of 2022.
NFL star Russell Wilson delivered the commencement address, and Melissa Barales-Lopez ’22, a first-generation college student from East Los Angeles, was the valedictory speaker.
President Philip J. Hanlon ’77 congratulated graduates and told them, “It has been an eventful and somewhat staggering journey to this day. A journey that has led you to this most joyful and celebratory moment. Cherish this moment.”
